Description:

The availability and use of high-strength concrete has been growing for quite some time. More recently, high-strength reinforcing steel has become steadily more available, creating new possibilities for combinations of high-strength concrete and reinforcement in seismic and other applications. This web seminar will discuss the use of high-strength concrete and rebar in several recent successful projects, explain building code and other requirements for its use, and suggest new opportunities that can be explored by interested structural designers.

This web seminar will also include three question-and-answer periods.
