Existing Buildings provisions continue to evolve. This seminar will cover the major changes to IBC Chapter 34 made in the 2009 edition, along with the refinements made in 2012.
Masonry veneer is by definition non-structural. Design of veneer consists of connecting it to the backing system, and detailing it to accommodate differential movement and resist water penetration. This seminar addresses those issues in the context of the 2011 MSJC Code and Specification.
