This presentation discusses strategies for mitigating reinforcement congestion, thereby improving the constructability of reinforced concrete structures. These strategies include the use of high-strength and ultra high-strength reinforcing steel, weldable reinforcing steel, headed bars (terminators) and mechanical couplers.
